Igor Efimov was born on November 6, 1987, in Cherkasy, Ukraine. Has been shooting since 2009, since 2010 - the author of personal and group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad (Moldova, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Poland, Estonia, Hungary, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, USA), multi-time winner of photo contests, participant of international programs Winner of the "Photographer of the Year" award. Graduate of the "Bird in Flight" school.
He started with documentary series and street photography, later added to his practice social and art projects, in which he explores the themes of the relationship between a person and a place, the essence of what it means to be a human. To be more precise, the artist’s main interest is in his motherland – Ukraine. Through his work, Igor Efimov captures the dramatic changes his country is undergoing, inviting the viewer to piece together the puzzle of Ukrainian reality.
